The reason many are annoyed with Gary Lineker isn’t what he said. I personally found his comparison utterly grotesque, but I also believe in free speech. The problem is that the taxpayer funds his salary under the guise that he remains politically neutral.

Surely refusing to carry out your job is a sackable offence, these woke wouldn’t get away with this in industry
