Our caterpillars are here! Day 1: They are eating and moving. About 7 days until they will form chrysalises! Guilford Elementary School #gatorsdeserveit20

Day 7 The caterpillars are growing! They will grow to 10 times their size. The little black balls are their exoskeleton. They will shed their exoskeleton 5 times! ⁦Guilford Elementary School⁩ #gatorsdeserveit20

Chrysalises wiggle to scare away predators. They will stay in chrysalises for 7-10 days. We will know when they are about to emerge because they will get dark. Guilford Elementary School #gatorsdeserveit20
