A great Day 1 at Lakehead for the Indigenous Education and Math Conference #IKMath2023 Today’s experience was learning about looming & it’s connections to math. Thankful to be in a space with so many community partners that allows us to have these experiences & learning.

Day 2 Lakehead University Orillia for #IKMath2023. Today was all about birch bark baskets, & the cultural teachings of the experience. The math connections during this task were so evident. We talked SA, V, Cap. , and informal methods of measurement. Oh! And assembled my loom bracelet!

Potato Olympics was a spudtacular way to end off an amazing year in 5/6! 🥔
