27 years ago today, Serb forces overran the town of Srebrenica & murdered 8,372 Muslim men & boys over the coming days in an act of genocide. Today, we remember the innocent lives taken in this act of hatred & those left behind to rebuild their lives. We will never forget them.

Sad day today as I said goodbye to @LasswadeHSC, @LasswadeSocial and the most amazing students! I’m very grateful for all the opportunities and experience I have gained. I will miss the staff and most importantly the students very much, but now on to the next chapter back West 😊

Proud again today of the maturity and respect shown by our pupils who attended the Erskine Gardens memorial service! Pupils paid their respects by laying a wreath on behalf of the school to remember the sacrifices of those who have fought for our country.
