In our fiction reading unit and narrative writing unit we’re learning about figurative language. Today we read a poem about some interesting ice cream flavors and then tried making our own with alliterations!🍦📖✏️ @mrsroadrunners

A special mystery reader visited us today…my fiancée! His high school was off today, so he gave our third graders a good chuckle reading to them before lunch…and told them they’re invited to the wedding next summer 🤣 Middle Road School

The past couple of weeks we’ve been using addition and subtraction to create our own taco trucks. Today students had fun asking their classmates for their orders and finding out how much money they were making!🌮
