A 40-truck inter-agency convoy led by Syrian Red Crescent, in coordination with the authorities, delivered life-saving aid to As-Sweida. It included 1.5 tonnes of World Health Organization (WHO)-supported medical supplies—from trauma kits to dialysis sessions—to support hospitals under pressure.

WHO welcomes this newly opened channel of access and is hoping to further scale up support to health services. We remain fully committed to working with health authorities to support direct health services in As-Sweida & wider system coping with referrals & displacement.
