(How) can we show the skill of constraining future projections?

Model-as-truth tests have been used in the past but only for individual methods.

We develop an extensive & consistent testing framework and apply it to five (!) constraining methods.

Hyvinkää +16 cm, Lohja +18 cm, Kaarina +16cm, at least in these places the increase in daily snow depth is totally unheard of for this late in April.

Also partly by chance, as the heaviest snowfall occurred just before 06 UTC when the daily snow depth is measured.
