So. At the Eel Conference today I learnt that you can smuggle 100,000 elvers in a suitcase (30kg) worth £100,000; some eel (no one said eels) are 200 years old; the UK has 5% of the EU population; AND Hinkley C reactor sucks in 2 tons of fish a day (which chops them up).
