Productivity: Make reflection a daily habit Before you sleep, reflect on what made your day successful and how it could be improved. In my experience, the fact that you're trying to improve yourself will get you excited to wake up the next day and get going.

By default, git uses `master` as the default branch. The current recommendation is to use `main` instead. This is how you do it: $ git config --global init.defaultBranch main If you want to undo this, simply delete the `init` line in your `~/.gitconfig` file. #100DaysOfCode

Learning new tech is exciting but I also find it beneficial to redo a course you enjoyed. - The 1st time you do a tutorial, you learn a lot about the topic. - The 2nd time, you learn a lot about yourself, that you've gotten better at this. Time spent learning is never wasted.

I love Twitter. But it will get you hooked on reading short, punchy sentences, which reduces your ability to read long form content. If you start reading more Twitter threads than the books or articles you used to read, make necessary adjustments like setting a time limit.

This is one of my favorite commands when navigating in the terminal: $ cd - It takes you to the previous directory using a single character. Why do I like it? - super easy to use - helps you focus - less typing How to remember it: - it's above the `p` key - think "previous"

I see people on Twitter trying to grow as quickly as possible, even at the cost of integrity. Don't make your Twitter journey a race to the bottom. It's better to walk than cheat. Tell your unique story and help each other because Twitter is about teamwork, not a competition.

Thoughts on learning effectively online: One of the best ways to learn anything is to join a community. Spending time with people with similar goals as you is just so inspiring and fun. I love the accountability, sharing of knowledge, and most importantly, becoming friends.

The final chapters of my book 'View to Composable' are finally out 🚀 2 months in the making, the book promises you to be able to use Jetpack Compose straight away. I made a short video going through what's included in the book. Thank you so much for everyone being part of it:

We always build on top of an existing idea. So if your code feels like a copy and paste job from time to time, don't blame yourself for not being "original". What's important is making sure you understand the code so that next time, you know how to solve that problem quickly.

This is what I've been working on for the past 6 months! There are >50 people in Taro Premium already and the results have been amazing.

Happy Monday everyone! I like to start my week with some good music. I really like this mix I discovered from reading flavio's work. It's great for coding, working out, and most importantly, folding laundry. youtube.com/watch?v=0Vy-x6…

You can apply Rafael Nadal's tennis tips to coding as well: 1. have fun [coding] (playing tennis) 2. have the right people next to you 3. demand yourself to be better 4. show up consistently

Whether it's coding, entrepreneurship, or running a marathon, it's all about putting in the reps. There are no shortcuts. Anybody can do it. The hard part is not losing enthusiasm when things get tough and doing it anyway. And when things are going well, stay humble.
