Elementary music teachers are working hard this morning on our district in-service day. After a morning session of examining enrollment and other data, they have now split by content area. Lots of learning and discussion happening! #mpsmusiced

This afternoon, elementary art and music teachers are learning how to better respond to student behaviors in class. Thanks to Lori Olberding and the MPS Professional Learning department for their collaboration with us on this session!

The 2022 MPS Secondary Choir Festival was a resounding success! We enjoyed choral performances from every junior high and high school in the district. Thanks also to the Mesa Arts Center and Sonoran Desert Chorale for their sponsorship and help! #mpsmusiced

The Summit Academy music program had an awesome combined concert last night, and everyone wore Halloween costumes! Here are some fun pictures from the event. Orchestra director is Jennifer Schwartz, choir director is John Snyder, and band director is Brian Wilson. #mpsmusiced
