Definitely the right approach. Mobility, sensation and skin status should be the main factors for risk assessment. Challenging busy environments are not compatible with complicated risk assessment tools.

Advice for staff using PPE: avoid over tightening and have regular breaks to off load pressure. Cavilon barrier film can be applied to all areas more likely to become moist from sweat. Apply a good emmolient on your days off. #NHSheroes @broomfieldnhs
