T-18 hours until the Match and we are unwell.

I’m headed to Northern California for the next year. This means my husband and I will be geographically separated during this time, but I am hopeful that this will be a stepping stone for me matching next year and us being together once more. #MatchDay2025

After leaving Beale AFB, I never thought I’d be itching to get back to the Sacramento Valley, but here we are, ready to get to work at UC Davis 👩🏼‍⚕️🔪 Will say it’s a little bittersweet to leave COS, but it’s April and below freezing today and that makes moving a little easier

Just thought about the fact that I’ll be a legit doctor in a week and a half. Absolute bananas. It also distracts me from having to move in less than a month and I’m still waiting on orders 🤙🏻🤙🏻

A dream almost 20 years in the making! Couldn’t be more excited to be a doctor, finally be a captain (again) after 6 total years as a 2d Lt, and start the official countdown to being a mom in two short months. Life’s pretty neat 🥹

A week a way from making the move for residency and the only thing I’m worried about is driving my cat 18 hours

Man, I officially start my first day of residency (orientation). The work is just beginning but I’m feeling so beyond lucky to have made it to this point. Onward and upward y’all 🤘🏻

The goofiest thing I’ve done was think I’d have all this free time to prep my residency application while on maternity leave. It’s been a major test in time management and baby wrangling and we’re barely doing it six weeks later.
