Our Marlin Class had a lovely afternoon at Pear Tree House Care Home yesterday. They helped the residents with some Easter Craft activities.

🎵 We are bursting with pride at how Dolphin Class rose to the challenge of performing for us with their Easter Musical. Turtle and Marlin Classes provided the choir too. It was SUCH a memorable afternoon yesterday. Thank you to all the dedicated staff in particular Mrs Davey.

Proud beyond belief of our Year 6 and how they have tackled this week of statutory tests. They have supported each other as a class family and completed this stepping stone in their lives with enthusiasm and determination. Well done from all your school family. 🙌🏻👏🏼🤩

Last week our KS2 children had the most amazing opportunity to go and watch the stage production of The Boy At The Back of The Class at the grand theatre Blackpool. We loved watching this adaptation of such a powerful story about equality, friendship and never giving up hope! 😊

Well the rain stopped but our 'Shades & Shorts' sponsored run turned into a welly & waterproof run! It was great fun and the children all put in 100% effort as we worked together as a school family to support Christ Church, Wesham. All money raised for the church heating fund.

What a difference a day makes! The weather took a turn for the worst on Wednesday but that didn't dampen the children's spirits whilst they were testing out our new orienteering course. We all had great fun!@CCOrienteering

In DT Dolphin class have practised our sewing skills, decided on the most durable material, learnt how to waterproof fabric with wax before sewing our own lunch bags. I think Dolphin Class have done a fabulous job

What a fabulous Sports Day on the last Tuesday of half term we had with our youngest two classes in school. The children literally ran their socks off and demonstrated so much resilience on a sunny afternoon on our field 😊. Thank you to our families who came to watch 🙌🏻🤩

The whole school have enjoyed Yoga sessions today from The TheYogiGroup Blackpool and Fylde We enjoy learning how to keep our bodies and minds healthy through relaxation exercises and are learning to use these in school and out!

We have been lucky today to have a visitor from AFC Fylde Community Foundation Community Foundation discussing loneliness in our area. Next week is loneliness prevention week and we made cards which will be distributed in our local area.

We welcomed Archdeacon David to our school this week. The children shared in a reflective worship with him in church. A special mention to our fabulous children who walked the entire Kirkham and Wesham Club Day route on. It was an honour to walk with you and crown the Rose Queen. A super morning for making memories with your friends and we are all really proud of those who took part 👏🏼🤩🙌🏻

What a fantastic afternoon we had on Friday for our World Music Day celebrations. Each class performed for the rest of the school and then the teachers gave us a special rendition of You Are My Sunshine on the hand chimes!
