A busy week for Dosbarth Melyn ✂️✈️🫟🎨

Dosbarth Derwen designed and made some healthy pancake faces. They are learning the routines of cooking in the Food Technology rooms and all the routines and expectations of working to prepare, make and then to clean up after themselves. An excellent job by all of them 😊🥞🍓🍌🍊

Thankyou to Monmouth Rotary for their very generous donation, which allowed us to purchase a Silent Disco set for our wonderful students. Year 9 tested them out in RE, whilst listening to ‘Joseph’s coat of many colours’ as part of our Biblical Stories topic! ✝️🌈

Dosbarth Derwen visited Monmouth castle today! They remembered that once the Romans moved out, the Norman’s moved in, and that Henry V being born there 🏰🍁🍂

Dosbarth Derwen made some fork biscuits in Food Technology this week. They weighed their ingredients and mixed them until they were ready to be shaped. Then they carefully using a fork to press down on the biscuits 🧑‍🍳🍪
