We had visitors all the way from Birmingham today! 🚗 Some friends from Kiely Bros Ltd dropped off a 75kg donation - which is enough to make up 10 full food parcels! 🥫 Their kind donation shows how solid the support for foodbanks across the UK is. 💚

Digital exclusion is a huge problem for the people we work with in Manchester. The work we do with partner organisations to help our visitors get digitally connected is a big step towards helping them tackle the root causes of their crises.📱💻🖨️

Thank you to Bio Laboratories Ltd for donating eight boxes of shampoo, conditioner and shower sponges! 🚿 The visitors to our foodbank are so often struggling to afford essential hygiene products as well as food, so we love to include them in our parcels. 📦

This summer, Daniel Webster took on the UWCB challenge in aid of our foodbank! 🥊 The training paid off and here’s some great shots from his bout. 📸 He raised £375 which will go to supporting Mancunians in need this summer. 🐝

Summer is such a tough time for the families we see each week. As well as higher food and utility bills, there are lots of extra costs like school uniforms and PE kit for the year ahead. Just one reason why Mancs are struggling to afford the essentials and make ends meet. 🐝
