My takeaway from #Weapons' B.O. success is that CBMs need a stronger marketing hook now. Superhero movies cant rely on saying "this movie is about a c-list hero fighting a bad guy" anymore. Not every character can be relied on to draw crowds, the story needs to hook audiences.
