Hi NZ Post - can you please tell your delivery people NOT to drive their Paxter delivery vehicles at 25+ kilometres an hour (dowhill) the footpath? Right past doorways and driveways? You could kill a pedestrian stepping out with that. 16:30 today, Ladies Mile Remuera, Auckland.

There are some undulations in the Tamaki Drive cycleway surface. As the cycleway looked complete and the defect didn’t create a safety issue we opened it over the holidays. The contractor will fix this at no additional cost and we will let you know when dates have been confirmed.

Some good news last week - after we raised safety concerns w a proposed new traffic signal at Makora & Triangle Roads in Massey (plan below) and met with AT about it - AT have now confirmed that the new signal will be on a raised table to slow down dangerous turns in particular!

Whoa! This is going to end up expensive for whoever ends up having to pay the piper...
