During the first part of our @EU2024BE Presidency, I am proud to fully focus on European Health Data Space, a key pillar of the European Health Union. Together with my colleagues we will do our utmost as Council to reach a well-balanced agreement in the trilogues. 💪 #EHDS

Yesterday we, as Council, hosted the 2nd political #trilogue - and the first one under Belgian Presidency - on #EuropeanHealthDataSpace. We are happy to share that it was a productive meeting. All parties still have the same goal in mind: reaching a well-balanced agreement. #EHDS

Proud to have chaired yesterday my first in person Working Party on #EHDS. The Council still underlines its aim to reach a well-balanced agreement, taking into account the importance of quality and Member States’ competences. Our team will continue the hard work on this file.

Today marked a highlight as we succesfully wrapped up the Formal #EPSCO 🇪🇺🇧🇪. Our message was clear from the start: we need a Europe that cares, prepares and protects. I’m convinced that the work done these past 6 months reflects that motto, and I’m proud of our achieved result.

These past 4 days, I mentored students at the interuniversity UNYA negotiations. Watching their growth, creativity, and teamwork in action was inspiring. I’m honored to have been part of the UAntwerpen team, led by Prof David Criekemans, and to have met wonderful colleagues. 🙌
