Fargo is an actual american work of art, and i don’t say that lightly. I say it with zero hyperbole, either. I think Fargo is important. It captures something hard to articulate about the quiet, insular surreality of living in not-important places in this country.
There’s no way to say this without sounding at least a little bit like an asshole but has everybody considered not being a huge bitch about this one thing in fiction? Like goddamn pick yourself up off the floor.
I’m no mathematician, but with over 16 million vacant homes in the U.S. and corporate landlords like Blackstone scooping up entire neighborhoods to jack up rents, maybe the problem isn’t visa holders. 🤷🏽♂️
