My mission to save the 'John Brundle Motors' Celica is well underway. Raced by my Father, Uncle and Grandfather over 24 hours in 1980,81 I've bought it and I'm getting it back on track, We have been getting the hard yards done in Episode 2, but the problems are mounting 😖

#OnThisDay 163 years ago Blackpool Central station opened. As can be seen on this aerial photo, the station (in the distance just in front of the Tower) and the associated carriage sidings in the foreground were vast. All that survived the 1964 closure was the toilet block!
