A nice Christmas present in that Dr Rachel James' paper has just been published. This work was completed under the challenging conditions last year, with many obstacles to navigate, but happy with the way it turned out acp.copernicus.org/articles/21/18…

• If you're wrong, admit it. • If you're confused, ask questions. • If you're stuck, seek for help. • If you make mistake, learn from it. • If you learn something, teach others.

Hi we were out in it too. Huge snow flakes, and slush on the ground, so was quite “warm”. The force required to separate ice spheres that come in contact increases close to 0 deg C. Although it’s not the only factor it can be important in generating really large snowflakes

Stunning levanter cloud over the Rock of Gibraltar. When moist air is blown up and over the Rock, the air cools and condenses to form a cloud. This cap cloud can be sculpted by the shape of he Rock if conditions are just right. 🎥 via Met Office Gibraltar

In toxic cultures, you have to burn out to earn a break. Time off is how you recover. In decent cultures, you take a break when you're low on gas. Time off is how you refuel. In healthy cultures, you're expected to take regular breaks. Time off is encouraged to sustain energy.
