Matt Discombe When the UTC model was introduced at North Tees & Hartlepool, it was a game-changer. Patients & public liked it, hospital staff were enthusiastic, ambulance crews were fans, and as a user myself I can say it worked extremely well. The type 1 figures do deserve scrutiny, though.
