There's a lot of discourse in BC about if Bills 14/15 are the right approach to getting projects approved faster. Hot take: unless the govt delivers the promised new $ for training skilled trades, it's kind of a moot point. These projects will struggle to get built #bcpoli

Data centres have become a core business for electrical contractors in the US, and now the opportunity is here in BC. BC needs to invest in training more electricians - right now - in order to support public infrastructure, mining, tech and more #bcpoli biv.com/news/technolog…

BC needs builders if we're going to build the economy and the infrastructure we need. It needs to start with a targeted, substantial funding increase to essential skilled trades like electricians and powerline techs this year. Every month we wait compounds the issue. #bcpoli

It's always a privilege to present to BC's Budget Consultation Committee. Thank you to the MLAs on this year's committee. On behalf of Electrical Contractors Association of BC, I spoke about the urgent need to fund training for electrical apprentices, and the importance of prompt payment legislation #bcpoli

Watching hockey of this speed, skill, and physicality is a constant reminder of how far away the #Canucks are from being a true, elite contender

The #Seahawks have agreed to terms with P Michael Dickson on a four-year, $16.2 million extension, sources say, to once again make him the NFL’s highest-paid punter. Dickson is now signed through 2029 thanks to a deal done by Justin Schulman and Andrew Kessler of Athletes First.

Important news for the BC economy, particularly those in the Kamloops region. HVC is a major employer and supplier of copper, which is an essential component for electrification. news.gov.bc.ca/releases/2025E…

Ok Strombone , that’s two for Florida, and since we share custody with you, we’re gonna need you to come back to Vancouver and win one with the Canucks.

I am professionally and personally supportive of renewable energy self sufficiency. But comments like this about doing so by 2030 are unrealistic and unhelpful. Even BC is very unlikely to generate 100% of our own electricity needs by 2030 based on our current situation.
