Anthropology is a listening practice and study of human culture. To be human is to be inherently resilient. My mission is to unearth beauty from brokenness in communities that are fragmented by systemic oppression.

I professionally listen for the impenetrable force that always sings the human spirit whole. I have been blessed with the opportunity to dance and sing with legacy of Greenwood in Tulsa, Oklahoma also known as Black Wallstreet.

Burned to ashes by the fires of racism and the rage of the KluKluxKlan, my work in Tulsa is to generate projects that conjure the Phoenix of black beauty that still rises from the ashes of the 1921 massacre’s pain. God is so good!
