Staying focused while performing is a crucial skill to have as a performer in this activity. Any performer can achieve this by just working a few skills:
-Mental reps
-Studying your show
-Staying mentally present
-Thinking out loud
These have helped me grow as a performer.

I often hear other performers say they black out or can't remember what happened on the field after a show.
This used to happen to me, but the strategies listed have allowed me to stay present and perform at a higher level in my shows.
If you really want to grow, use them.

Being able to adjust on the fly, recover quickly, and project to the audience can help you become a top performer in the space.
No matter if you are just starting, in highschool, college, or a world champion. These skills are a great fundamental base to help you grow!

At this time of year in marching and audition season, sometimes results go your way, and sometimes they don't.
The work you and your friends have put in to get to this point is enough! The countless reps, football games, shows, and run throughs.

All of these experiences helped you grow so much this season, never forget that!
A contest with judges seeing you for the first time can't take that away from you. Hold onto these moments, and cherish them forever.
Never let a score on a sheet of paper define your season.
Corps need to learn to cut people correctly.
Over two camps and an entire callback weekend, the decision should be pretty clear on who should and should not get a contract.
Having a callback camp just to callback someone again is a complete waste of time.
