Registered this afternoon for #EDULEARN22 - my first time at this conference so will be really interesting to meet some new people. Giving a talk about our student-led knowledge exchange model: Tues 12.30 M2 Student-led Knowledge Exchange

Third keynote speaker is Michelle R. Weise talking about ‘long-life learning’ and preparing for jobs which don’t exist yet (social media intern, big data manager etc.)

Session on industry-university collaboration. The triple helix model as underpinning. #EDULEARN22

Interesting research on science parks ongoing by Olga Frances and Manuel Paloma university of Alicante. The journals may be of interest to those involved in student KE projects in the UK - I wonder how much the student voice is heard in this type of output? #EDULEARN2022

Manuel Gericota talking about the need for student-centered learning. The exponential development of knowledge together with the digital transformation means that specialized expertise becomes obsolete in around 4-5 years in engineering. #EDULEARN2022

First session on ESD that I’ve been to at #EDULEARN22 Zdenka Konecna talking about Innovations in ESD through an educational laboratory. Aims to enrich learning and equip students with transferable skills - focus on curriculum and pedagogies, but also KT.

This approach maps on really well to the student-led knowledge exchange model which I’m presenting on tomorrow at #EDULEARN22 It’s a collaborative, project based approach, working with external companies. Student-led Knowledge Exchange

Talking about student-led knowledge exchange later. Also a bit of discussion about forms of knowledge and about Bloom’s taxonomy (in 12 mins!). Poster attached includes the model if anyone wants a sneak preview (though I’m not talking about sustainability today!) #EDULEARN22

Almost at the end of this project and just want to say thanks to the fantastic project team and everyone who's supported us Plymouth Marjon University and our partners. We're really proud of the new opportunities we've offered for students and look forward to making even more SLKE happen!
