Everyday across the NHS and in social care settings, staff are doing their very best in trying circumstances. They are endlessly resourceful, creative, kind and dedicated. Many are also exhausted & frustrated. Still, they work as a team to support our loved ones. 1/2

Talked to 1st year University of Leeds students today about issues re diversity, inclusion, equality in #NHS They engaged well, asked curious questions, showed empathy compassion & commitment to be inclusive in their practice. My parting words were... “Be the change the NHS needs”💙

The physical health team has been out giving the Covid Vaccine . Exciting times!

Exciting day today Leeds & York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust Gugu, Dean, Adrian & myself were able to start to give patients at #themount the covid-19 vaccination! The first LYPFT inpatient to recieve the vaccinate reported feeling very lucky & said it gave them hope, little tears of joy were had!

First 11 covid vaccinations given today to our service users !
