It’s so important to listen to Zara Mohammed just now The sinister tone of the election around our Muslim communities was bad enough and the fear that must surround mosques at the moment is so sad As she said yesterday our neighbours and friends are under attack. Love over hate.

- Asian man stabbed - Black men attacked - Black bus passengers attacked - Muslim women have hijab pulled off - Asian man pulled from car + beaten And now reports of an acid attack on a Muslim woman If you are not calling this racism + Islamophobia you are part of the problem.

Over recent days we have seen evidence of racism and Islamophobia. We stand in solidarity with communities who have faced intimidation directly or who now feel less safe. The places and communities affected will need support to repair the harm caused by this weekend’s violence.
