We were all very excited to see James Green in our lab in the UK before he heads back to the USA to the see the launch of our samples 🚀 What an honor! In the meantime 2 of our researchers are in the US taking care of the organoids that will be sent out on SpaceX-31 with NASA🌍

Fantastic day at the @DunhillMedical ECR conference at the Wellcome. It was great to present a poster of my work to researchers from such a wide range of disciplines within healthy ageing, and led to some very interesting discussions 🧬🧫👩‍🔬

Earlier this month, the first human tissue samples from Oxford's Space Innovation Lab (SIL) were launched to the International Space Station. On the day of the launch, the team came into the lab at 2:30am to watch the rocket, carrying their samples, take off ☄️
