Today I’m starting a 3week #train #trip across Europe, combining partner meetings for ULaaDS and some time off. Despite all the strike-related anxiety, TGV INOUI 9708 left on time from #bcn. Nice to see that waste collection is now done using a segregated bin. First stop: Paris

I was looking forward to the 2nd leg of my trip, Paris - Cologne. The 9423 Thalys left with a 30' delay, cutting down my time for visiting Kölner Dom (worth checking their tweets in any case). Still, Thalys trains remain among the best in terms of comfort & style imo

I used Deutsche Bahn AG ICE 108 for the last part of my trip: Köln - Bremen. The train was 20’ late and was really busy, with many people without reservation struggling to find a seat. The panels showing the status were definitely not helping.

Getting from Groningen to Berlin isn’t trivial. Still, even with some 10’ delay, connections are good enough to allow for a smooth trip. Nice to have all the platforms announced in the train, as it makes train swapping much easier

Going from Berlin to Prague with the Deutsche Bahn Personenverkehr EC171, and from Prague to Vienna with the ÖBB rj75 has been a piece of cake. Or strudel.
