Figured out how to apply any arbitrary SF Symbol to a folder in Tahoe. xattr -w 'com_apple_icon_folder#S' '{"sym":"camera.viewfinder"}' some/folder/here Replace underscores with dots. It also works with private symbol names

There is a consistent argument "government should not fund scientific research, however beneficial". My criticism is only that it is catastrophically utopian. But I very rarely see it made. Instead, science de-funders say things like 'mRNA tech is a fraud', which is a stupid

The Next button is disabled, yet it appears more prominent than the Cancel button (which is enabled). Even more confusing, you can still interact with it, but its action won’t be triggered. Totally misleading 🤦‍♂️
