Once again when given an opportunity the Foreign Secretary refuses to condemn a war crime nor even remind Israel it has obligations under international law. This is giving a huge green light to war crimes.

1/ For days I have warned this is the Israeli agenda. Shift the population south towards Egypt and then into the Sinai. Palestinians have painful history of fleeing and not being allowed back. 70% of Palestinians in Gaza are refugees.

750K Palestinians were forced to leave their homes in 1948. Almost all of them and their descendants were not allowed to go back. This must not happen in Gaza today under Israeli bombs and threats. Killing and displacing civilians in such a manner is a war crime. #gaza

Sadly I've been turning out to demonstrations calling for an end to the occupation of Palestine, and the complicity of our own government in this, for virtually my entire adult life now. Here's hoping I'll see the day when it's no longer needed.
