Helluva 1st round for New York Mets PeteAlonso. The guy throwing him those beach balls is Mets coach Dave Jauss. (I played against Dave all through h.s. & with him one summer.) His dad was famous Chicago sportswriter Bill Jauss, a pioneer in sportstalk panel shows on TV. We owe him.

Flew into Denver this morning to start a new round of chemo. Not a good omen when the Uber driver taking us to the hospital turns on the radio and the first song is by Five Finger Death Punch. #5FDP

Shoutout to Southwest Airlines. Flew to DEN yesterday for medical procedure. Scheduling glitches at the hospital. Flight needed to be changed. SW folks on phone & at the gate listened, showed great empathy & smoothed things out. Thanks. That's why we fly you at every opportunity.
