We are very happy to announce that Lemur is the Ensemble in Residence at The National Museum - Architecture in Oslo in 2018!

This is Lene Grenager, our cellist, but also an outstanding composer.

This is Thorolf Thuestad, to some he might be a sound engineer, but for us he is the Gandalf of sound

This is Hild Sofie Tafjord. Not only does she play the French horn with Lemur and Spunk (to name a few), but she is also studying Gestalt therapy

This is Bjørnar Habbestad, our flutist. He also runs the excellent label +3DB records and is the artistic director of nyMusikk

This is Michael Francis Duch , our bass player. Lemur played a central role in his research project "Free Improvisation - Method and Genre" NTNU

Lemuria was born on the island Veierland. Drawing inspiration from Luigi Nono and the myth of Lemuria, we created a new piece for the Borealis festival in Bergen almost a year ago. We are very excited about performing it this weekend at the National Museum - architechture in Oslo
