Our final event of the half term....Lunchtime Live all wrapped up! #wicked!

For our final visit to Tasting Notes for this year, some of our year 7 and 8 scholars took to the stage. Bravo all - we will be back in October!

Another double whammy of concerts today. A full up Sound Bites with solos and Prep Percs, and a less fraught Lunchtime Live, featuring a surprise item from Ms Reinhard and Mr Prisada - a taster for the GreatBowdenMusicFest from 3-7 July.

Our final visit of the year to Loughborough Amherst School for Sound Bites today. The Prep Choir has doubled in size since their last performance and a wonderful selection of soloists. Well done to all performers.

Congratulations to the Year 2 string players who did a fabulous job of displaying their string skills in their final concert at Fairfield Prep School and Loughborough Amherst School respectively. They were joined by the Year 3 and the senior Briggs Quartet.

Our final Lunchtime Live of the year features some of our leaving students - it is not worth missing! Come and say farewell at 13.45 in the Recital Hall today.

A delightful (and packed!) final (and 25th!!!!!) Sound Bites of the year took place on Friday - featuring performances from a number of year 6 students as their final FFD recital. Well done everyone - here's to the new year!

The final (and 31st!!!) Lunchtime Live of the academic year is traditionally dedicated to our leaving Year 13 students - and what a send off they gave. To our 5 performers - thank you for the music. Good luck and keep in touch - we look forward to hearing of your future ventures!

Yesterday saw our end of year finale of Al Fresco - 31 ensembles across 2 stages providing nearly 4 hours of non-stop music...and home in time for extra-time of the England game! LSM doing what it does best!

Our music scholars met today for their termly breakfast and the new scholars were awarded their badges. Here's to an exciting year ahead for you all....

Our second Lunchtime Live of the year, with the first ensemble performance offering - Percs 1 were messing about with triangles and body percussion; followed by some superb solos from scholars Max, Anya & Jeremy. Check the LSM You Tube soon for the whole concert.

On Friday, 10 senior pupils took a trip to the Palace Theatre, Newark to watch a fantastic concert given by our friends of the Band of the RAF College and the Swing Wing, RAF Music. As always, the band were a great inspiration! We look forward to the next one!

Last night at LSM, our 12 new music scholars took to the stage in their own dedicated concert - the musical future for these students looks very promising.... watch this space! Well done all.
