This may seem vain to write but I really want to thank my sisters for reminding me to never let my physical appearance “go” just because I became a mother! #therealmvps

I remember when I had my first child I had made this bizarre agreement with myself that I was too officially no longer take care of my self-care 😂 #nottodaysatan

My sisters reminded me of how when I look good I also feel good! The evidence is there! Just think about how great a mother with a newborn feels when she’s able to shower uninterrupted! Instant dopamine hit!

I say all this to say, becoming a mother does not mean the end of self-care/ self-grooming. I encourage you to find a routine that works for you.
