Does anyone else stare at their pupillage applications for so long that the words don’t even look like real words anymore?

And so the waiting game begins... A massive thank you to all of the barristers who reviewed my applications and offered advice, my peers for the support and last but not least, my nan/proof-reader for being my biggest fan but also my toughest critic!

Had a lot of fun with the Speed Mooting Advocacy Club tonight. Such a friendly environment to practice advocacy in and a really good opportunity to receive mooting feedback. Thank you John Dove!

Today I had my civil advocacy exam, my final qualifying session and my first ever pupillage interview - what a rollercoaster of a day!

Very much a pinch me moment - last week I was called to the Bar of England and Wales by Middle Temple. I am so incredibly grateful to everyone who has cheered me on along the way🥰

I received this email the other day. My imposter syndrome had me emailing my Inn asking whether it was a scam. It isn’t and it’s very kind of them. I should probably be kinder to myself…
