Nvidia spent the equivalent of 1/3rd of it's cash reserves, 20 billion! CASH to buy Groq. Why? Because Groq can do inference without HBM ram, bypassing the DRAM crisis. Inference is what is used when you ask AI questions and it answers. They didn't make all that from gamers.
