Congratulations to Isabelle Lutterodt, appointed last week by Governor Gavin Newsom to serve as Deputy Director for Development and Chief Curator at California African American Museum. Isabelle was DCA's Director of Barnsdall Park and LAMAGBarnsdall since 2015. We wish her the best on her new journey.

Commissioned specifically for LAMAG, #LukasGeronimas (@geronimas53) created a series of new sculptural works that evoke ancient ritualistic and symbolic objects, such as a column, tomb, relics and other mystical looking forms with different meanings. #LAMAGallery #LukasGeronimas

Among the sculptures in the solo exhibition of #LukasGeronimas, the “Signet” series of sculptures invoke philosophical inquiry at a different, smaller scale. They acutely depict recurring forms in the body of work, like puzzle pieces or eyes.
