WINNETKA AVENUE:  Gets its name from the community of Winnetka.  Charles Weeks created a small farming community named Weeks Poultry Colony in the Winnetka area of the San Fernando Valley. In 1934, that neighborhood was named Winnetka after Weeks' former hometown, Winnetka, IL.
