This summer, we're joining forces with Toups' Meatery to provide books and meals to hundreds of children in Orleans Parish, and we need your help! Please bring new or gently used books geared toward readers PreK-12th grade to Parleaux Beer Lab on Sat, June 15, 1:00-4:00pm.
TOMORROW! Bring new or gently used books for readers PreK-12th grade to Parleaux Beer Lab from 1-4pm. We're partnering with Toups' Meatery/Toups Family Meal to provide books to children whose access to books gets cut off during the summer when schools close.
Big thanks to Tubby & Coo's Book Shop for donating highly requested book genres and a shelf to make our book packing go smoothly! We appreciate you! ❣️📚
Come support LouisianaBooks2Prisoners on Saturday, Aug. 24th from 1-4pm at Urban South. We are doing a book drive for Spanish language books!!! There will also be a voter registration coinciding with the book drive!
Books for Brews is back! LouisianaBooks2Prisoners needs PAPERBACK Spanish-language books, which will be sent to people held in ICE facilities. Bring these books to Urban South Brewery on Aug 24 from 1-4pm and exchange them for FREE BEER! You will also have the opportunity to register to vote!
