The genus Agrilus is pushing 4,000 available species and sometimes folks get "creative" with names. In Australia there is Agrilus kangaroo, A. emu, A. numbat, A. bilby, A. moloch, A. echidna, and no they have not host-switched to vertebrates! #TooManyNames

A wicked storm exploded a couple trees in my parents' yard las week. I'm trying to convince them that this'll do wonders for our local Corticeus (and I guess some other bugs) population, but they insist on removing them :( #ParentsJustDontUnderstand
