A1, I am lucky that my husband and my sister are both teacher and they often get the debrief phone cal home from school. Also a few teacher friends who I’ve met and connected with along the way! #TLAPdownunder

A2, I have found avoiding the staff room and chilling with my kiddos in my room when I’m not on duty has been great two fold, no negativity from staff room and building relationships with kids doing stuff like puzzles 🧩 #TLAPdownunder

A3, having the courage to speak up to my school leadership. Something I would’ve just kept to myself previously. Really accepting what I can/cannot change and how to be the best I can be for my kids. In spite of the shortsightedness of others. #TLAPdownunder

What a refreshing and uplifting chat. Hope everyone walks into the new week with a renewed freshness to accept that our best is enough! Thanks @ponderingDan Karen Caswell - Authenticity In Edu & #TLAPDownUnder crew

Hi Kate from Newcastle NSW, I’ve been teaching for 12 years. This year has been some of the most challenging and life changing teaching moments of my life! Happy 2nd birthday #TLAPdownunder

A1, I have committed to making time for me, even if it’s something small like a walk, or a chapter/few pages of a book, listening to a podcast. I continue to reflect on this though and try to build healthy habits #TLAPdownunder

A2 this year has been a journey both personally and professionally. We watched In My Blood It Runs and from that so many opportunities for truth telling. It’s such a privilege to be able to share the true history as I told my class we didn’t learn about it when I was at school

A2, breaking down stereotypes perpetuated from home or other influences for students and staff. Change is so hard for some people I am hopeful though! #TLAPdownunder

This year my stage 3 students planned and delivered a presentation for an activity for each class in the school to do but due to covid we can’t mingle so each class is writing their own Acknowledgment to Country. Previous years we’ve had rotations activities. #TLAPdownunder

Kate from Newcastle, relieving stage 3 AP so grateful for all this wonderful chat has given me. My finale song would be time of my life Greenday. #TLAPdownunder

A2, not sure where to begin. This space has given me the reassurance that there is like minded educators whilst I struggled in my workplace. I will be forever grateful. #TLAPdownunder
