A big few days for Team Canada! Silver for Summer McIntosh. Bronze and history for Eleanor Harvey in fencing. Bronze for Nathan Zsombor-Murray and Rylan Wiens in men’s synchronized 10-metre platform. Hope every athlete hears the cheering from all across Canada!

Team Canada athletes have trained much of their lives to reach sport’s biggest stage. They have worked for years, made sacrifices, and have overcome challenges. Let’s let them know that we have their backs and are cheering loudly. Wishing everyone a PB and great Games!

A HUGE weekend for Canada at Paris! Silver in women’s eights rowing. Silver and bronze in men’s 100m butterfly. Bronze in men’s boxing. Gold in men’s hammer throw. And the summer of Summer continues with gold in 200m medley. Congratulations to all, and go Team Canada go!

Sport is never just about sport. While no one wants to discuss abuse during a global celebration of youth and excellence, it has once again raised its ugly head. When will Canadians hear a start date for the Commission into sport promised last December, and will it have teeth?

Team Canada heads into the final days of Olympic competition. Athletes have worked much of their lives to be on sport’s biggest stage. Let’s celebrate each and every one, let them know that we have their backs, and cheer on their every success!
