Very excited to find the Water Newton silver British Museum I grew up in Water Newton - if I’d seen The Detectorists back then, there’d have been no keeping me off those fields!

A brilliant day The Linnean Society of London for Rediscovering Natural History. There was even an interactive session- Using Smell to Open up Archives!

What an amazing opportunity for a research fellowship!

A PhD, during which you will get to use the archives of where I now work and where I used to work, a real archival treat 📚

Exploring Northumberland and some rather excellent cup and ring marks. Anyone know what these signified? I’ve guessed ritual, the kids think they were part of children’s games and A thinks waymarks 🤔
