To the people who say it’s all about the kids. Just remember the kids learn in an environment created by the teacher. A teacher who is supported, encouraged and appreciated will create a more positive and dynamic learning environment than a teacher who is not supported that way.

Districts, please make sure you have realistic expectations for teachers & parents right now. They are all doing amazing under these conditions, but Unrealistic expectations puts too much pressure to perform & guilt if they don’t meet them. No one needs that unnecessary stress.

Note to educators: Taking points off for late work and/or not allowing kids to rework tasks right now is bad practice. Kids don't have the same supports that they do when working with you at school. To expect them to be perfect at this right now just isn't reflective of reality.
