I do remember when I was the only Spanish Scientist attending the Controlled Release Society. I also remember the difficult times to start the CRS Spanish Portuguese Local Chapter with the encouragement of Nicholas A. Peppas. Having this crowd of Spanish Scientists attending the 2024 CRS annual meeting gives me an incredible joy.

It is time to say goodbye for all wonderful friends and researchers at #CRS2024 in #Bologna, and to thanks to organizers for the extraordinary organization.
