So it looks like our step up into division 1 of the milk league will be short lived

Was informed at the weekend of planned kerry suppliers protest on June 24th at the farm of one of the board members in limerick where a sustainability walk is taking place. KDI are leading down the milk price, not delivering on their promises and there will be no top up this year

Today's kerry protest has been postponed following a number of commitments from KDI going forward. Hopefully there won't be need to fix a new date. Thanks to everyone who had committed to supporting suppliers

Rumors circulating around the southwest the last few days that KDI had to borrow a further 50million to fund working capital. This has now been confirmed by a co-op board member who's term is up in a few weeks. Worrying news for KDI suppliers!!

A drop of 1.5 cent a litre for Kerry suppliers for August. And they havevthe cheek to talk about getting young people into farming. Tagney and Creedon would do well on that show "traitors". Going around smiling saying the company is flying while screwing the farmers.

Was talking to a man today. Good established cow man calving all year round. We were talking about milk price dropping and he showed me figures to prove that if he was supplying dairygold instead of kerry he would be better off this year. So be careful when comparing processors

No movement in the French quotation, it signals their butter still holding at €5,420 M/T. Hearing rumours that Irish winter butter is being offered out as low as €4,550 M/T. €870 M/T below the French farmers last week. That's around another 4.5c/l off the Oct Irish milk price

No amount of cheese and maltesers will sweeten the sour taste left in some suppliers mouths after what Tangney and co did to them last December!

Vladimir Putin would be proud of this propaganda. Whoever in KDI wrote this must be realising that a rising number of suppliers are beginning to see that the figures are not adding up. EBITA well below the 80million we were promised, 50million borrowed this year to pay for milk

Pat Murphy was on Radio Kerry Dairy Ireland this evening and said farmers are resilient and need to cut costs inside the farm gate. Well I'm going to take his advice, I'll never again purchase anything from kerry. Maybe if we all shop elsewhere, they might treat us a bit better
