Last night I learned a new song on the piano and then listened to the Two Towers audio book by candlelight while eating brownies. I think this is what they call winning at life. It at least beats doom scrolling.

Same with studying geography. Just had that experience today with my kiddos in the car. As we were listening to a world history story we stopped with each place named and tried to see if they could picture it on the map. Makes everything come together. History - Geography -

I do this twice a week, very early in the morning and it is some of my favorite time. Honestly, I could sit there for hours and ponder things. But I'll take the couple hours I get. It orders and clarifies so many things.
