Jesus is not to be used for our own personal gain or to push people away. He is not a temporary fix or the means to an end. He is not a snide comment masked in compassion or judgment disguised with grace. Jesus is the truth and the life and the only way.

Those with less have the same access to God as those with massive wealth.

They would lay down their palms; He would lay down His life. A lot can change in a week.

While we wait and wonder on Saturday, God is working for our Sunday. While we pace and panic, He is planning and preparing to make a way. When we think defeat is final, He is orchestrating a victory. There is nothing we will face that the cross hasn’t finished for our good.

When we give up on gaining the whole world, we set our souls free.
